    Since you didn't provide any configs or sample extensions.conf, I'm
gonna take a wild stab.

[mycontext]
Switch => Realtime/mycontext at rtextfamily

AFAIK, the name of the parent context cannot be the same as the RT context.

Again, just a stab.

What do your debug logs say?
