[Asterisk-Users] Issues with ringing on FXS ports

Ok... I've done a bit of emperical testing but don't really know what the results mean. I'm starting to think I need an oscilloscope to measure this properly. All I have is a DMM, I'm measuring on both the AC and DC scales...

              AC Measurement DC Measurement
On-hook 107V 49V
Off-hook 11V 6V
Ring drops to 44V 0V

Does this make any sense to anyone?

Thanks,

Ian

Try adding the module parameter boostringer=1 when loading the wctdm
driver. This raises the ringing volts to 89V peak.
