[Asterisk-Users] Setting auto-attendant to answer immediately

Thanks to everyone who answered. I had inadvertantly included a wait
statement before the answer(), so that is what caused the problem. I
must have done this during testing and forgotten about it.

Is it that you want the caller to hear no 'ringing' 

Or 

Is it that you want the asterisk box to answer faster?

Currently when I call in to my * box it answers after two rings. I'd
like for it to answer without ringing. Is this an option somewhere in
the dialplan that I'm missing?
