Greetings,

Look in the context for inbound calls in your sip.conf and
extensions.conf

Take out any

Secret=
Md5secret=
Auth=


This context will send back a "SIP/2.0 407 Proxy Authentication
Required"
[44016667]
type=friend                     
host=dynamic                    
username=sip:44016667         
context=from-sip
auth=md5 
md5secret=0

This context won't
[44016667]
type=friend                     
host=dynamic                    
username=sip:44016667         
context=from-sip


or 

make sure your inbound context use "type=friend" or "type=peer".  

"type=user" is for outbound calls only

     I cannot accept any inboud calls from any provders in my asterisk
which tries to authenticate the provider and at the end rejects the
call with tthese message

407 Proxy Authentication Required


How do I turn off this message.
