ICD was/designed as an extensible frame work for call q's.
It was made for developers who need a good design framework
and who expect to build custom call routing stratagies in a load c module.

There are a few custom installs, it mirrors most of the app_q chan_agent
functionality & has a number of additional features but lacks reporting
abilities.

There are also private implementations for predictive dial based on the icd
architecture.

I am not sure what is on the digium cvs server the current icd is only
current on
cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs at orson.callenish.com:/var/cvs login pwd=anoncv
cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs at orson.callenish.com:/var/cvs co app_icd

>Is it a viable alternative or does it need work?
Depends on your needs I would guess additional coding would be required
please try it out & see what you need.

cheers tc
