Mohammed,

I have a SPA 2000. Has been plugged in and turned on for over one month.
It is warm to the touch but only a few degrees above ambient
temperature. Completely normal in other words.

I would have to ask a few questions:

1) What type of phone are you plugging into it? Is it powered? Try a
normal, unpowered phone and see what that does. Also make sure they're
good quality phones not cheap sets.

2) What plug pack are you using to power the Sipura? Im using the
standard switched mode 5v 2A pack. If your voltage is not 5V DC then i'd
look at trying a different plug pack.

3) Is the mains power in your area of the world erratic? If you don't
have a stable power supply company chances are you're going to run into
problems with the plug pack and Sipura unit.

4) Is the Sipura set to default values for ring voltage etc? Im guessing
that if you strain it too much in terms of ring voltage and talk voltage
it may have problems.

If all of the above is OK then it might be a faulty Sipura like the
others have been jumping to as a conclusion.
