If you are ringing your Zaptel FXS ports with UK-style cadence 
(ring-ring-pause-) then you need to adjust chan_zap.c, changing this line:

#define DEFAULT_CIDRINGS 2

(Default is 1, you need to make it 2).

There's not enough time between ring one and two.

Remains to be seen whether your connected phones recognise the outgoing
