[Asterisk-Users] SIP phones

Keep your phone.

Get an ATA and connect an analog ringer to it (there are hundreds of
different kinds of analog alerters to be had, from chimes to strobe
lamps). Just program the ATA to ring when your phone does, connect your
alerter of choice to it and you're set!

Wheelock makes some pretty cool stuff: check out their Telephone
Signaling products. Dees makes a few neat ringers as well. Sandman.com
and Phonegeeks.com sell all kinds of weird and wonderful phone stuff.
I'm sure there's other places as well.

A lot of noisy environments don't use ringers at all - they use strobe
lights. Not sure if that'd work for your application.

Cheers,

Jim.

I am looking for a loud ringing SIP phone. I am presently using the
Polycom and just cannot loud enough to hear it over the din in a
collocation room.
