[Asterisk-Users] Cisco 7960 VLAN Setting

I am trying to use a Cisco 7960 with a non-cisco Layer 3 switch.  I can
set the admin VLAN in the phone through the phone configuration menu but
after a power cycle the VLAN parameter is erased.  I understand that
with a Cisco switch that this would be learned by CDP but this is not a
cisco switch.  

The SIP Manual states this entry(22) is for non standard switches, but
it isn't saved into memory.

Any ideas?
