[Asterisk-Users] Unable to open master device - Fedora Core 2

Guys,
 
Has anyone seen the following error when doing a modprobe on Fedora Core 2. It looks like zaptel loads just fine but when trying to load wcfxo - For the purposes of timing..I get: (BTW ztdummy delivers the same error)
 
[root at impbx01 root]# modprobe zaptel
[root at impbx01 root]# modprobe wcfxo

However, applications like meetme that need a timing device still error out:
