[Asterisk-Users] mod problem

Good day all
I got the new version of asterisk and libpri
In libpri I made a make and make install
And asterisk I made a make,make install and make samples
I configured my vpb.conf for my voicetronix card and started asterisk 
with asterisk -vvvvc
I then gives me a error that its unable to load the module "chan_modem.so"
Please Help me Im a bit new to all of this
