I would think the most helpful answer that could be posted there is to
use the asterisk mailing lists...

I'm not suggesting forums are good/bad, nor that mailing lists are
better/worse, but as you have noticed, most of the helpful and/or
knowledgeable people are here on the mailing list, so you are limiting
your chances of a response by using the forum.

Also, of course, I imagine there are many other people (like me) who
don't have the time nor inclination in specifically remembering to go
and check some web page to see if someone else needs help. However,
people will remember to read their email....

Just my 0.02c... may be worth less in your country.
