I would like to set up an extension for some users where the system 
tries one number then another until it is answered, I assume there would 
be a dial timeout for each number tired.

A number of the numbers will have voice mail on the extension called 
(cell phone home etc.) so I don't want to transfer the called to the 
extension unless a live person is there.

I have done this on other systems "supervised transfer" was what it was 
called.  Basically the person on the end could hit a key and accept the 
call from the system would pull it back and try another extension or 
send to the system (Asterisk) voice mail.

In researching other issues with Asterisk I thought I saw this 
capability but I can't find it again.
