Trevor,

    Technically, the only contract you can get on a piece of equipment 
that is used, is the Cisco Smartnet (IIRC).  The normal service 
contracts require the phone to be re-certified.  This is because of the 
way Cisco operates, unfortunately.  Also, each image you have on your 
phone requires a license for use.  SIP, MGCP, SCCP, all require 
per-phone licenses to use legally.
