Hi list,

Looking for a good TTS with french voice, only scansoft's realspeak 
seems to fill the bill (though at a high price), but I'm having a hard 
time trying to find technical details.

More than one year ago there was a discussion about * and high quality 
speech synthesis, and people indeed mentionned scansoft products. So I'd 
like to know if people actually have working installations. To be more 
specific, I'd like to use it for for an IVR using AGI/EAGI and Perl 
scripts; is it doable, what is the impact in terms of processing power, 
memory needed, linux distro... for say a 10  simultaneous channels.
Do I need to buy their very expensive Linux SDK, or just licences?
