That would be possible; all that's required is a splitter than can 
provide 12V from the PoE supply. For the IP300, this can be provided on 
a mini-plug jack; for the IP500, it has to be on the RJ-45.

There are lots of splitters available out there, and plenty that will 
provide 12V. The issue would be finding on that you could easily combine 
the output cables from the splitter back into a single 4-pair cable for 
the phone. Good luck :-)
