sorry, I hit the send button prematurely ...

anyway, the call-ID contains the IP address of the Asterisk box ...

Call-ID: 3b2h34e70a4a3f545fc6526f51936f58 at 1.2.3.4

so it would seem the system knows it's IP address just fine.

any hints appreciated
