1. Yes, in the console type soft hangup and then press the tab key to 
auto complete to the channel you want.

2. Usually the only need for this is incorrect set-up of 
indications.conf etc.  Do you want to chuck your configs in a pastebin, 
and I'll have a look. Alternatively, if you are in a country that does 
not yet have indications.conf entries, you can send me the tones and I 
will show you how to add them. Let us know.
