The astGUIclient suite is fully compatible with asterisk systems that use
IAX trunks. This was a new feature with the most recent release(1.0.5).

Hi, 

I wanted to set up astGUIClient, a predictive dialer
for Asterisk. Now, it is originally configured for the
Zaptel channel, has anyone of you configured it on a
SIP or IAX channel, so no telephony equipment is
needed to set it up for demo purposes ???

Also, I have configured Asterisk for working with
SJphone clients. However, I wanted to configure
Asterisk to make and receive calls. I have
successfully dialled calls from Asterisk but when I
have to receive calls from it, I can't. The other
client (SJPhone) continues to ring and I have
configured Asterisk's extension.config to Answer() for
that extension, but yet I cannot answer the call.

Can anyone guide me as to how to set up the sip.conf
file and the extensions.conf file so that I can make
and receive calls from Asterisk ....
