HI,

Sort of new to linux. I am trying to update my asterisk and get this error as
below.

oot at appsrv1 test]# export CVSROOT=:pserver:anoncvs at cvs.digium.com:/usr/cvsroot
[root at appsrv1 test]# cvs login
Logging in to :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.digium.com:2401/usr/cvsroot
CVS password:
[root at appsrv1 test]# cvs up -D "2004-05-05 10:28"
cvs update: Updating asterisk
U asterisk/.cvsignore

It creates a file called .cvsignore and in the file it lists...

asterisk
build.h
ast_exper.c
.version
.depend
.applied

It also creates a folder called asterisk with the following files: enteries,
rapository, root, tag.

How does one upgrade the asterisk? What is the command? pls help :P

steve
