Well - since your DNS resolve correctly there are three possible options
really:

1. You have tried just at a moment where Digium's CVS server was down (I
have never experienced it to be down, but they could have been upgrading or
something)

2. You have a firewall in front of you that doesn't allow you to connect to
a CVS server.

That's pretty much all that could be wrong - if your internet access works
in general (could theoretically be a routing problem as well).
