The bug fix you reported to me privately also needs to be applied to 
app_rxfax.c (similar code - same errror).

There are new versions of app_rxfax.c and app_txfax.c available for 
download which fix Alex's problem. There was an error in parsing the 
parameters, so the apps would never use caller mode.
