This is a good tip and we will try it out tonight to see how that works. I will keep the forum posted.
By the way the tests with Azatel Box at one end in canada and SIPURA at the other end with me were great( offcourse why wouldn't they be)

ILBC is your friend. Many softphones support it and more
and more hardphones support it, too.
If your end user gear supports ILBC, then the reasons to
use G.729 or GSM are not all too compelling.
We've been making phone calls from Egypt to Japan with a
33.6K dialup modem on what has got to be one of the
world's most mediocre telephone lines (getting roughly 20K
out of it - but very unstable). ILBC and IAX2 was the only
thing that worked - nothing else would - and it was
virtually indistinguishable from a PSTN call.
