I see. Then the problem really boils down to defining more than just a
single dynamic span. 

Whenever I add a second dynamic definiton to my zaptel.conf, all
channels would show up with ztcfg, but the spans would not. ztcfg would
report

Zaptel dynamic span creation failed: File exists.

for the 2nd virtual span. Interesting enough zttool reports channels
even for the 1st span as 'uncofigured'.
