[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk hanging?

I had the same problem, but a wise friend in IRC told me to uncomment a
line in dsp.c that says something like

#define OLD_DSP_ROUTINES

and then recompile... That fixed the problem for me.  I hope it fixes it
for you.
