The actual keyword in the Cisco SIPxxxxxxxx.conf file is:

# Extension for Voicemail
messages_uri: "8500"

Simply change that to whatever extension you want to dial for Voicemail. 
If you are enterprising, it will dial an extension that directly logs the 
user in. :)
