Is this an issue specific to Asterisk? I'm currently running Red Hat
Enteprise Linux 2.1 and 3.0 on a total of eight Dell PowerEdge 1750 servers
without any problems.  Granted, RHEL 2.1 won't install without a newer
MegaRaid driver.  All of these servers are using the PERC4 controller
(onboard) configured for RAID 1.  I have not encountered a single lock-up on
these systems nor any RAID-related problems.  Perhaps this is an issue that
was fixed in a previous firmware update?
