[Asterisk-Users] What is the procedure to test for Caller-ID

I am not sure if I am doing the right things to figure out Caller-ID in 
Taiwan.
Usually Taiwan follows everything what USA says (was not meant as political)

zaptel.conf:
========
loadzone=tw
defaultzone=tw
fxoks=1-2
fxsks=3-4


zapata.conf:
========
usecallerid=yes
progzone=tw
cidsignalling=dtmf      or bell or v23
cidstart=polarity        or ring
signalling=fxs_ks
callerid=asreceived


when I change any parameter in zapta.conf   I reload asterisk.

OR do I need to stop asterisk?
OR do I need to rmmod wctdm and zaptel and reload, and than restart 
asterisk???

I am sure it is just a procedure what I am doing wrong!\
