[Asterisk-Users] iconnect inbound - so do we know how to fix it

You know that you don't have to name the sections with the same names, or
have you tried that?

Change your register line to @iconnect-inbound, and set up a user(?) section
there.

Then set up a [iconnect-outbound] section for your outbound traffic from
extensions.conf.
