Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I have put that line in my SIP.CONF file, but its not working at all.

Maybe there is something else wrong, cos the stutter tone doesn't work on my other IP phone either.

Its not worked since I download the stable version of Asterisk.

I have tried:
mailbox=100

and

mailbox=100 at default

But neither works !

Paul.

Paul,

Set mailbox= in the sip.conf file

Here's how mine looks:

[1000]
type=friend
dtmfmode=inband
username=1000
password=PASSWORD
mailbox=1000
host=dynamic
nat=true

Works like a charm.

Matt

Hi,

I have just upgraded my Cisco 7960 phone to SIP firmware today and I have to say it's working great with Asterisk.

At work (which uses Cisco Call Manager), when a voicemail is recieved the read light remains lit until the voicemail is retrieved. Is there any way to achieve the same effect with Asterisk ?

Thanks, Paul.
