[Asterisk-Users] register => w/MD5?

You have to specify it in sip.conf in the entry for the UA/proxy for 
which you want to register with.

For example, if you want to register with x.com

sip.conf

[Any alias name here for x.com]
hostname=x.com
auth=md5
