[Asterisk-Users] G729 stops asterisk in the background

I hope somebody can help me out...
since I installed the G729 from digium, my asterisk box doesn't run in the
background any more.
I can only make it work with "asterisk -vvvc";
If I ran "asterisk" and then "asterisk -rvvvc" to see what's happening; once
evrey module finished loading, the program stops; just as if I entered "stop
now"
does someone have any clue about it?
