Its more like this..

Before GS
PC--(100Mbps)--Switch/Hub--(100Mbps)--Servers

After GS
PC--(10Mbps)--GS--(10Mbps)--Switch/Hub--(100Mbps)--Servers

Result: PC network throughput to servers reduced from 100Mbps to 10Mbps..

Effect: Client doesn't but the phone becasue they see its as reducing 
their network performance.. :)
