To hold simply press the function button that has that call on it (the 
button on the right with the light on)..

To blind transfer press the "Xfer" button (the first one on the left 
directly under the screen) enter the number to transfer to and hit OK..

To do a consultative transfer, pick up another line (the first call will 
be put on hold) then dial the person, when ready hit the "Xfer" and the 
two calls will be connected and you will be dropped..
