What is OOB DTMF?

I am using GSM with Xlite and dtmfmode =rfc2833. The Authenticate app
recongnizes the digits I enter but with VoiceMail it only takes the first
one or two digits of a 4 digits extesion (voicemail box).

I have the same problem if I use g711. From my experience then is not a
problem of the codec being used but it has something to do with the
voicemail app.

Any suggestion?
