That is correct.  The ATA-186 processor, apparently, is not equipped 
to handle compression on both ports at the same time with G.729 as 
the default codec.  Plus, G.729 doesn't sound good at all when 
talking to people on cell phones.  I would avoid G.729 if at all 
possible.
