Nope, It's not enabled in my kernel, just the plain regular CONFIG_VGA_CONSOLE 
in my kernel. I also don't have that many PCI devices either, just the 
Wildcard, and Network/Sound are both onboard. I've tried running asterisk 
with nice -20 also, no improvements.
