There isn't an IP associated with the TA750 unless you have the optional
router card (part of the TA850).  You'll need to use the serial console port
to setup the TA750.

The TA750 has a bunch of T1 tests that it can perform.  It will do a digital
and analog loopback, for instance.

Once you connect with a console cable (9600,n,8,1,no handshaking -
straight-thru DB9 cable), you can use any serial communications package
(Hyperterminal works just fine) and you'll see a set of menus that should
help.
