It fails to compile here (Redhat 9, gcc version 3.2.2 20030222 (Red Hat
Linux 3.2.2-5)):

dsp.c:1055:15: missing terminating ' character
make: *** [dsp.o] Error 1

Seems to be something simple, like the need to escape the "'".
