[Asterisk-Users] DynExtenDB

Has anybody had any success getting DynExtenDB working?
I installed it in /asterisk/apps and did the "make install from there"
I put one statement in the database, "exten => 2001,1,Dial(Zap/1)
Then in extensions.conf, I put "exten=>2001,DynExtenDB"
It dials the extension but as soon as the calling extension hangs up, then
asterisk goes down.

Is "chan->dnis" supposed to be populated when I call from one extenion to
another extension.  THese are all Zap extensions.
