I may have found out why I have a problem.
When I run the Zaptel configuration (ztcfg -vv), I get the following 
information:

Channel map:

Channel 01: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 01)
Chennel 02: FXO Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 02)

2 channels configured.

ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 2: No such device or address (6)
===================================================================

Since my error message is saying that there is no channel available, I can 
only assume that it is because no channel was created.

So does anybody have an idea why ZT_CHANCONFIG failed?
