[Asterisk-Users] mpg123 hangs on close, but plays fine.

 I am running Asterisk CVS-04/16/03-18:57:13, and mpg123-0.59r

 

It all sounds great and it plays at the correct pitch and speed. However
at the end of the file it simply does nothing.  It does not go on the
the next step in the extension.conf nor does it hang up. It just sits
there.

 

During play I have two processes running for the mp3 stream:

 

root      6300  6299  8 22:32 ?        00:00:00 /usr/bin/mpg123 -q -s -b
1024 --

root      6301  6300  0 22:32 ?        00:00:00 /usr/bin/mpg123 -q -s -b
1024 --

root      6303  5187  0 22:32 pts/0    00:00:00 grep mpg

 

however after the file plays I get this:

 

[root at asterisk asterisk]# ps -ef | grep mpg

root      6300  6299  1 22:32 ?        00:00:00 [mpg123 <defunct>]

root      6338  5187  0 22:33 pts/0    00:00:00 grep mpg

 

Ps -ef of the asterisk processes shows this:
