[Asterisk-Users] Caller ID Issues

I posed this question on IRC and got no takers. I thought I might try 
here and see if I could get some resolution.

using a PRI with all SIP phones:

On an incomming external call: Why does * display "asterisk" as the text 
based callerid, when the phone number displayed is correct? Internal 
calls display the callerid I set in sip.conf, but anything comming in 
from an outside source, just says "asterisk." What is going on, and how 
can I fix it?
