[Asterisk-Users] external trigger on caller id

If you don't mind some fabrication, just get a solenoid that you can
mount into your door frame, and put it on a relay that is controlled by
say a control line on your serial line. Then you just need to write a
quick C app that opens the serial line, trips the control line thus
"buzzing" you in. The only hard part here is finding a solenoid you are
comfortable with using.
