Sam,

I assume you have set up the point codes for the MSC (and STP) correct?

ACM means that the call is temporary answered and voice is connected. SS7 send ACM first to allow for other scenarions and voice interaction BEFORE the call is formally answered with ANM - the difference is that billing start on ANM

If you look below the ACM you see a CPG -that confuses me - your trace fail to show which side that is sending it? But, seems like someone is attempting a CPG scenario after ACM?

What I would expect is ACM - ANM

A scenario ACM - REL usually means that an ISUP instance did receive your IAM, but that further call routing failed - in simple terms you need to get your phone number and leading bits set correct in accordance with what the MSC expects. This IS a fiddle

Change Nature Of Address and try Unknown. national, International against these number formats

national number
0 national number
00 countrycode national number

The safest is to always expect the later - international format.

However - the REL migh be because of the CPG message - do you have an agreement with the telco on how the scenario should be?

Tanzania - let me guess that there are mobile phones only involved here?
