The mailing archives have quite a few topics on this. If you're familiar with Aterisk, you should be able to do it.

In our initial attempt, we had a large stumbling block, as the telco switch in question was an Ericsson switch, which probably has a few SS7 differences. But did come across another user who was able to work this out with an Ericsson switch.

This route is for termination... Telecom is providing E1's with SS7 signaling... I have been looking around for solutions and the ready made solution like SMG box/Quintum Unified Signaling Gw/Cisco PGW2200 are very costly...

I have the Digium hardware in hand just need to setup Asterisk + SS7... I'm family with Asterisk and other Digium hardware but never tried SS7. Any howto's or procedure around?

Any info will be appreciated...
Thanks for your info... much appreciate.
Do I need to buy any licenses for SS7? Sangoma SMG requires some sort of
license in order to work... Do I need licenses for Digium cards?
