Ok so, for the ones who've been following up on my posts:

by issuing noa => 1 (which I've come to know means subscriber) to the linkset part, got the 90 away, now I can do local and mobile calls, next, I will apply the patch for overlapping CIC codes when 2 signalling channels thingy and let you know.

and another fact, by setting up more than 16 links on ss7.conf broke chan_ss7, so there is a patch to be applied for sure, not that It shouldn't work fine with up to 16, which somehow leads me to believe that in fact the operator has the problem on the non-working E1s.

What should ssn => be set to? should it be set to anything in particular?

Any light?
Hi,

I've come to know that a patch is required to use 16 or more E1s with chan_ss7 on a cluster.
Any light you can shed about this patch?

Hi, is there any chance, whatsoever, that I may be wrong in my setup, that somehow chan_ss7 does not support 16 or 20 E1s or that this is a misconfiguration?
Ahmad points that the E1s are blocked on the remote end, is there any possibility that it may be my setup or chan_ss7?

Please comment.
“Idle Reset pending” means E1 blocked by your provider.
Ok, so, although things kind of work with the E1s, I mean can do calls on all first 8 E1s, the 9th E1 has the following condition:

CIC 249 Idle Reset pending

and it goes on up until CIC 280 then from 281 to 372 is Idle and I can place calls.
Same happens with 373 all the way up to 404.

CIC 373 Idle Reset pending

Then channels up to CIC 496 behave fine, below is a copy of my ss7.conf

Please bear in mind that I use chan_ss7 and system.conf files are identical on machine 1, 3 and 4, machine 2 has a sangoma card, but that one works fine.
So I can say that suspicious E1s are 9 and 13 and I can assure that I've checked CIC consistency.
I know if I don't get those right, they will come and bite me in the a**.
Note: I would post my config file, but it seems long threads kind of trigger the sysop in panic, so refraining.
