Thanks for this, I was struggling a bit trying to find out how to do
this specific setup. I made a small modification in order to have the
cics unblocked (with the actual pointcodes now):
signalling=ss7
ss7type=itu
networkindicator=national
ss7_called_nai=national
ss7_calling_nai=national
ss7_internationalprefix=
ss7_nationalprefix=
ss7_subscriberprefix=
ss7_unknownprefix=
linkset=1
pointcode=12251
defaultdpc=6332
context=incoming
group=1
cicbeginswith=34
channel=2-31
cicbeginswith=66
channel=33-62
cicbeginswith=98
channel=64-93
cicbeginswith=130
channel=95-124
cicbeginswith=161
channel=125-155
adjpointcode=12248
sigchan=1
#include ss7.timers
sigchan=32
#include ss7.timers
adjpointcode=12198
sigchan=63
#include ss7.timers
sigchan=94
#include ss7.timers
So I moved the defaultdpc directive to the linkset definition. This must
be defined before any cicbeginswith setting. Otherwise the cic is
assigned to DPC -1 in the "ss7 show cics 1" output. This is the setup
that works best right now, but it is not complete yet. Here's the output
of a few console commands:

for pointcode 12198, the state seems to remain DOWN indefinitely. I'm
not sure however if this is due to our setup or due to a
misconfiguration on the other side.
I'm also constantly receiving REL messages on the link to pointcode
12198. These result in errors in the asterisk logs:
[Aug 13 13:07:07] ERROR[28543] chan_dahdi.c: [1] Got ISUP message on
link while MTP3 state is not UP!
