[asterisk-ss7] echo on a SS7/E1

Is there not a different way to do that, ie:

echocancel=31speech or
echocancel=always

combined with:

echocan_taps=32

echocan_train=350


Is chan_ss7 using your VPMADT032 at all?

How do you tell whether you are using s/w echo or the hardware module?
