Thanks for your reply but dahdi doesn’t come. I am attaching the system.conf
below ; can you please tell me if its ok ?

span=1,0,0,ccs,hdb3

bchan=1-15,17-31

span=2,0,0,ccs,hdb3

bchan=32-62

span=3,0,0,ccs,hdb3

bchan=63-93

span=4,0,0,ccs,hdb3

bchan=94-124

span=5,0,0,ccs,hdb3

bchan=125-155

span=6,0,0,ccs,hdb3

bchan=156-186

span=7,0,0,ccs,hdb3

bchan=187-217

span=8,0,0,ccs,hdb3

bchan=218-248

# Global data

loadzone    = us

defaultzone = us

if we try to change span 2 bchan like from 33-63 then span 8 goes out of 248
limit and dahdi complains about that. Please suggest

Thanks

Hi,

If I'm not mistaking then problem is that you have configured it as 3
seprate linksets.

---
group=1

context=testi123-call

callgroup=1

networkindicator=national_spare

linkset=1

signalling=ss7

ss7_called_nai=dynamic

ss7_calling_nai=dynamic

ss7type=itu

pointcode = 699

adjpointcode = 311

defaultdpc = 311

cicbeginswith = 1

sigchan=16

channel = 1-15

cicbeginswith = 17

channel => 17-31

cicbeginswith = 33

channel = 33-63

cicbeginswith = 65

channel = 65-95

---

Something like that should do the trick.

Hello

Can someone please help me with the configuration for 8E1 on ss7 with 16th
channel on the 1st E1 being used as signaling channel. The operator has
given me the following CICs ..we’ve tried out many options but its not
working

CIC = 1    to 31    – 1st E1

CIC = 33  to 63    – 2nd E1

CIC = 65  to 95    – 3rd E1
